Richardson Commercial Realtors® Arranges Sale

of Former Factory in Chesterfield Township

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ, May 7, 2018 – In Chesterfield Township, next to the Village of Crosswicks, is a sprawling 32,000± square foot former factory that has been vacant and in a state of disrepair for many years. The historic building, which sits on 3.28 acres, dates back to 1879 and was once Brick’s Mincemeat Factory. The factory was where the Brick family manufactured mincemeat and then alcoholic beverages until closing in 1979. In 1980, the Hamilton Uniform Company purchased the building and the proprietor, a longtime resident of the Crosswicks area, still owned the property before enlisting the help of Richardson Commercial to sell it.

Steven Marusky, CCIM and Marie Ann Clifford, both of Richardson Commercial Realtors, were the co-listing agents representing the seller, Sonya Fenick, and Marusky also procured the buyer, Vince Pocino, a local building contractor.

“The buyer, having partnered directly with the Township on building projects in the past, will be a perfect fit to work together on this historically significant property,” said Marusky.
